Scott Snyder continues his Batman no hitter streak he started with Endgame back in the New 52 with Rebirth s All Star Batman, Volume 2 Ends of the Earth Time to take a break from the character, dude Mister Freeze unleashes a necrotic black spot that decays everything it touches and Batman s gotta etc It s soooo boring After the tedious Freeze issue, it s a weary trudge through a series of dull chapters featuring Poison Ivy, Mad Hatter and Ra s Al Ghul The lame Blackhawks are half assedly in Scott Snyder continues his Batman no hitter streak he started with Endgame back in the New 52 with Rebirth s All Star Batma...

This is not a Batman Story It s a Villain story That s what it says on the back of this volume Rather what it should have said is This is not a good Batman story It s a very mediocre Villain story So um Batman fights his usual cast But the stories and art are not much to get excited over Mr Freeze, Poison Ivy, Mad Hatter all s...

Volume 2 isn t as funny, but the artwork greatly improves and Snyder continues his unusual, clever romp It s amazing what happens when JRJR leaves The artwork here is diverse, some better than others, but always incredible My favorite Jock But all are fantastic And Jordie Bellaire s colors are perfect as alw...

received from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review 4.5 starsI could see the look in his eyes just before the flamingo hit The question How did I know Simple Because my family knows how to % fight.I think Snyder wanted to experiment with the After Death style in this book A lot of it is large art pieces with prose style text boxes It makes for a Batsy that doesn t speak much as most of his narrative takes place in thought boxes I actually really, really liked that Similar received from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review 4.5 starsI could see the look in his eyes just before the flamingo hit The question How did I know Simple Because my family knows how to % fight.I think Snyder wanted to experiment wi...

To me, the only thing to like about this story is the art, each issue having a different artist Batman hops from villain to villain with each issue, one leading to the next This however, isn t my issue with the book Snyder tells each issue in a different style and I hated it The Mr Freeze issue almost felt like prose, told in third person with no word balloons The Poison Ivy had a typical comic style of storytelling The Mad Hatter issue was told in first person as relating a story from th To me, the only thing to ...

After fifty one issues on the main Batman title during The New 52 with artist Greg Capullo, writer Scott Snyder did not leave the Bat world completely his helming of All Star Batman allows him to tell any story featuring the greatest rogues gallery in all of comics, as well as collaborating with big name artists However, despite an interesting premise of a Mad Max styled road journey with Two Face, the initial five issues didn t leave an entirely good impression as John Romita Jr s art made i After fifty one issues on the main Batman title during The New 52 with artist Greg Capullo, writer Scott Snyder did not leave the Bat world completely his helming of All Star Batman al...

Read as single issues The second arc of All Star Batman is told a series of one and done stories that build to a unified conclusion as Batman faces off against Mister Freeze, Poison Ivy, the Mad Hatter, and the true villain of the piece, who I won t spoil here Each issue has a very different flavour and feel, not just because each issue is drawn by a different artist Snyder approaches each character from a different angle and with different storytelling devices, so that the whole thing feels Read as single issues The second arc of All Star B...

3.5 A lot better than the last arc World Jock art is great, what else can I say The world building here is solid and much better than the last arc It sfocused on character and the places we visit and people we meet is well done and interesting Story Muchcharacter focused which I like The pacing is still a but wonky but yeah giving Batmanto do than punch things is good The villain for each issue is done well and really digs into the heart of that character Good stuff 3.5 A lot better than the last arc World Jock art is great, what else can I say The world building here is solid and much better than the last arc It sfocused on cha...

A 4 part story so boring I thought it lasted 8 issues.Nothing but succession of villains presented in a somewhat pompous way the issues with Freeze and Ivy being the worst with ridiculous theatrical dialogues, Scooby Doo twists and holes I lost interest halfway through issue one and nothing happened that got it back after that As for the side story with Duke, sorry, forgot all about it already The guy s not on the way of being a star Not as long as Snyder will write about him anyway. It see A 4 part story so boring I thought it lasted 8 issues.Nothing but succession of villains presented ...
